Date Announced: 22 Oct 2012
Quality Systems Technology (QST-North America) was recently featured in the September issue of SEGD’s eg (Environmental Graphics) magazine for QST’s innovative DigiGlass (patent pending) LED Media Window. This breakthrough technology combines unique architecture, convenient design, and a sleek, sexy look, and is available only from QST.
The DigiGlass is an ultra-thin, 80 percent transparent video medium, so consumers indoors and outside can see directly through the signage. DigiGlass does not affect the overall appearance of a building’s façade and can be programmed to any static or motion graphics with the click of a mouse.
According to eg Magazine, “DigiGlass, named Best Product at the 2011 SEGD Conference in Montreal, is an ultra-thin “see-through” RGB LED display that mounts on the interior surface of a window facing outward. The compact and lightweight design weighs only 2.5 pounds per square foot, minimizing stress on glass walls.” The magazine can be viewed online at http://issuu.com/segddesign/docs/eg_magazine_02.
Unlike other LED products, which can be cumbersome, expensive, and time-consuming to construct, DigiGlass is super compact at only 8 mm (1/3 of an inch) thick, and fits on the inside of any glass window or wall. Modules can be easily mounted to the glass in minutes without having to change any existing building structure. It’s perfect for commercial buildings, landmark architecture, malls, art centers, supermarkets, etc.
DigiGlass outclasses other LED systems in price and set-up time, costing up to 50 percent less than traditional displays and taking only 1-2 weeks to set up, versus up to six months for pulling permits and production.
